Best wishes Ian and Suad 19.08.2007 To those "shopping" for a tour guide and travel assistance in Saint Petersburg I had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of Taisia last summer when I brought a group of American climbers and skiers to Saint Petersburg at the beginning of a climbing trip to Russia. As a mountain guide with a degree in Russian language and over fifteen working trips to Russia under my belt, I am discriminating about service and also demand both professionalism and personality in my local Russian guides and contacts. Taia and her local staff exceeded all of my expectations. From her handling of our arrangements, to her knowledge of the city and it's cultural highlights (of which there are many), she did a fantastic job. She is intelligent, good-hearted, full of personality and passionate about her work and her city. Her english is great, and my clients enjoyed a deeper understanding of life in modern day Russia and Saint Petersburg via our conversations. Her arrangements were impeccable and executed in a timely fashion, and her ability to be flexible really allowed a spontanaiety to inform our experience. Restaurant and entertainment suggestions were perfect for what I had requested; as a tourguide and business owner myself she made my life easier. I highly recommend Taia to anyone considering travel and tourism in Saint Petersburg. I will be using her services for all future trips there without reservation.
